These terms apply to the Melons website and general use of Melons services and authorised Melons Books accounts. Melons, also known as Melons Web Development, is based in Amman, Jordan, and was founded by Alaa Al Refai. You can reach us at contact@melons.me<\/a> or through the contact page<\/a>.<\/p>\n The website explains our work and provides a way to enquire about services. A contact form, project brief, indicative budget, preferred contact date, or automated acknowledgement does not by itself create an accepted quotation, confirmed appointment, or commitment to undertake work.<\/p>\n Specific projects are governed by their agreed proposal, quotation, statement of work, or other written agreement. That agreement should identify the scope, deliverables, fees, payment schedule, responsibilities, timetable, acceptance process, support arrangements, and any cancellation or refund terms. If it conflicts with these general terms on a project-specific matter, the specific agreement controls. These terms do not replace rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.<\/p>\n When acting for a company or another person, you should have authority to provide their information, give instructions, and enter into the relevant agreement. Please provide accurate contact and project details, tell us about material changes, and review documents and approvals before relying on them.<\/p>\n You are responsible for supplying the content, access, permissions, and decisions agreed for your project. A delay or change in those inputs may affect the schedule or scope; any material change should be discussed and agreed. We do not treat an unconfirmed enquiry as permission to access someone else’s systems or publish their content.<\/p>\n Melons Books and client-service areas require authorised access. Internal users have the permissions assigned to them; a client contact’s portal access is limited to the linked client and the functions enabled for that contact. An invitation or account does not grant access to other clients’ information or to every internal function.<\/p>\n Keep your password, email account, and verification codes secure. Use your own authorised account, keep its email address current, and report suspected misuse promptly. Do not share one-time codes or attempt to bypass authentication or permission checks. Additional verification may be required by an administrator.<\/p>\n We may restrict an account or end sessions when reasonably necessary to protect data, respond to suspected misuse, reflect changed authorisation, or comply with a legal obligation. Where practical, we will explain the issue and provide a way to discuss restoration of legitimate access. Suspension does not by itself erase records or cancel obligations under a separate agreement.<\/p>\n Use the website and services lawfully and for their intended purpose. Do not:<\/p>\n If you identify a security issue, contact us with enough information to investigate, without accessing or publishing other people’s records.<\/p>\n You retain your rights in content and materials you supply. You give Melons the permission needed to store, reproduce, adapt, and use that material to respond to your enquiry or perform the agreed work. You should have the rights and permissions needed for that use, including for personal information, images, logos, and third-party material.<\/p>\n Ownership and licensing of commissioned deliverables, reusable components, source code, and project assets are determined by the specific project agreement. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences. Merely submitting an enquiry does not transfer ownership of your content or promise ownership of Melons’ existing tools.<\/p>\n Website text, branding, designs, and case studies belong to their respective owners. You may view and share links to public pages, but broader copying, redistribution, or commercial reuse requires permission unless a licence or applicable law permits it. Publication of a client case study or testimonial is handled separately from private project administration.<\/p>\n Melons Books provides tools for business records, accounting workflows, documents, communication, support, and administration. The available functions depend on the installation, configuration, and your permissions. Records, calculations, reports, and exports should be checked against the underlying business facts before they are used for tax filings, payments, or other consequential decisions.<\/p>\n The application does not replace professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. Recording a payment is not a promise that funds were received by a bank. Email acceptance by a sending server is not proof of delivery to an inbox, and a reminder is not a guarantee that an obligation will be completed on time.<\/p>\n Administrative changes, supported record changes, and financial actions may be retained in activity and audit history. Corrections should follow the application’s appropriate editing or reversal workflow. Access to records, downloads, and historical information remains subject to authorisation.<\/p>\n Hosting, email, cloud storage, and other integrations depend on their providers’ availability, account permissions, quotas, and terms. Connecting an account authorises only the functions and access disclosed for that connection. It does not transfer ownership of the account or give Melons unrestricted permission to use it.<\/p>\n The existing Google Drive connector is subject to the backup-use restriction explained in our Privacy Policy<\/a>; it is not presented as Google-approved. Provider restrictions may require a feature to be unavailable, suspended, or changed. The policy also explains connection data and disconnection.<\/p>\n Backups and recovery require appropriate configuration, a protected recovery password, and a valid archive. Local, remote, and emailed copies are separate copies. Disconnecting a provider does not delete an existing cloud archive, and a successful upload is not a guarantee that every future recovery will succeed. Responsibility for operating backups, testing recovery, and maintaining hosting access should be agreed for the relevant installation. Keep an independent recovery plan for important records.<\/p>\n We aim to provide useful, accurate services with reasonable care. Maintenance, defects, network problems, provider changes, or events outside our reasonable control can interrupt access. No general uptime, response-time, or permanent feature commitment is made by this website; any specific service level must be agreed separately.<\/p>\n If a problem occurs, tell us promptly so we can investigate and take reasonable steps to address it. We remain responsible for our obligations under the applicable agreement and law. Losses arising from incorrect inputs, unauthorised account use, third-party failures, or missed backups must be considered in light of the circumstances and each party’s responsibilities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes a remedy or consumer right protected by applicable law.<\/p>\n Our Privacy Policy<\/a> explains how personal information, cookies, communications, and connected-account data are handled. We may contact you about your enquiry, project, account, security, or support request. Submitting a form does not by itself enrol you in a marketing list.<\/p>\n For account or privacy concerns, contact us without including your password, verification code, or secret connection credentials.
